9 degrees fahrenheit.. it means -13 degrees celcius..

but, my mom's art show is on the next week..
and i haven't done my beads yet..

needs to work with that beads after school....
and then, for the winter season, i wanna join the basketball team...
but, needs to fill all the complicated form..
annoying...

What I've Done in America Since I've Got Here?? (Part 3)

08/24 Worked in Mariners game in the night with Nordessa... Yeah!!! Last week, we worked in
Pizza stand, but today we work at Hotdog stand.. There's so many stuff than Pizza stand..
I served nachos, popcorn, coffee, kettle corn, hotdog (sometimes), pretzel, and pops...
It was so tired... But, fun!

08/25 Be lazy at home... But I couldn't just lay down on the couch and really be lazy, I need
something to do... I'm bored... So, I clean up everything that I can clean up, I tidy up
everything that I can tidy up, and do whatever... And then, in the afternoon, I go to QFC
and Walgreens, just to have a little shopping.. hehehe.. And suddenly we met Wasis there..
It's so funny, because I just want to call him and ask him to join us.. But, because i don't
know his number, I didn't call him.. And I met him in the same store, it's very lucky...
We went shopping almost three hours, we didn't realize it... hehehe...

08/26 We go to the Long Beach!!! We will have orientation there... It's not like orientation in
our country... It's so fun and exciting! We have free time to go around the beach or do
whatever you want... I wanna swim, but the water is very cold and full of bird's poop...
O-o... I cancelled my plan... iuuuhhh... And in the night, you can go swim in the indoor
swimming pool.. I wanna swim, but it's too cold... I cancelled again... After that, we can go
get snack and go to the bed.. Fiuuuhhh...

08/27 Still at the Long Beach.. We went shopping at the town.. There's so many cute shops and
big sale... But, I don't want to spend a lot of money anymore... So, I just looking around
and just bought a cute pink backpack for school... I just spent $ 11.00... Uhuuyy!!! And
in the evening my mom came to our camp... She's supposed to be there since yesterday,
but because she's so busy, she just can come today... We have a big fire party and roast
marshmellow together and put it inside the biscuit and chocolate.. it's so yummy!! I ate
about six marshmellow... hehehe... And then we danced together... I taught some other
students from other countries to dance Indonesian dancing, like Saman and the other
dancing... I also taught them Indonesian song... hehehe.. It's so funny!!!

08/28 Today we come back to our home... We have a little real meeting and then prepare
ourselves to come back home... Packing all of our stuff... and my bag is sooo full.. Oooo...
We have a very long trip from Long Beach to come back home... Tired...

08/29 Be lazy at home... So tired.. Tidy up and clean up everything I found.. It's so bored if you
don't do anything... And in the afternoon, I go to QFC and Walgreens... just to buy my
acne medicine.. Didn't spent a lot of money... hehehe.. Save!

08/30 Worked in Mariners game again... But today the game is in the afternoon... We worked at
Pizza stand... Pizza, I come back.. hehehe... I served pizza, pops, water, cotton candy, etc..
It's so fun!! And we came back home before night.. It's so lucky.. hehehe...

08/17 Delivering phonebooks whole the day... Fiuuuuuuhhh....


08/18 Ani came in the noon... We went delivering phonebooks again... But she didn't join us to

deliver the phonebooks and slept the whole day... After we finished, we went to Tony's

(my coordinator) house and have barbeque... hhoohohoho... Everybody was starving...



08/19 Delivering phonebooks again... It was a very hot day!! I'm burning... We finished in the

afternoon and went to the lake (I forget the name of that lake) and swam in the very cold

water... The water is very different with the water in Indonesia... We swam until evening,

right before the sunset and then went back to home... Soooooo tired, but very fun!!! n_n



08/20 Huma is picked up by her hostfamily... Hiks.. Hiks.. I lost my bestfriends... Less one girl,

came one girl.. Kristina, a girl from Slovakia (do you know where is it?? If you know, tell

me...), came... Didn't go anywhere... Have a rest at home... (a little bored...)



08/21 Go shopping at JC Penney... Yeaaaaahhh!!! hehehe... I spent almost $ 90.00 , just change

$ 0.17... Fiuhhhh... I'm so a bigspender... It's not good... I know... After that, we went to

Tuozie hostfamily's house to drop off him, and then go to drop off Nordessa...

Huwaaaaanggg... I'm so sad... I lost two of my bestfriends again... T.T



08/22 Barbeque day!!! We went to somebody's house (I forget the name), and have barbeque at

there... We met everybody from our program... There's 57 students from 25 different

countries... And there's a very big lake there... I swam, played with water, rode a very

crazy and scary tube, rode a motorboat, and go around the lake with ship... It was sooooo

amazing!!! Can't you imagine it???



08/23 Sunday!! Go to the church... We went to Tony's church, Northwest Fourthsquare Church,

if I don't wrong... And then we go get food for lunch and came back home... Rest!!

08/08 My long journey to America is started...

08/09 Arrived in Washington DC, USA... Went to Hilton hotel and had orientation day...

08/10 Went to the Indonesia Embassy in DC and had a Indonesian Lunch, had shopping at the

Union Station, and visited Lincoln Memorial...

08/11 Orientation day, did activities at hotel, games, group working, etc...

08/12 Wake up at 6 am!! Prepare for the departure to our state.. Had breakfast and said

goodbye to others... 5 hours flight, so tired... Arrived at Seattle, my Mom and my

Coordinator and my "brothers" picked me up at the airport... They also picked up the

other my friends who their hostfamily can't picked them up yet... There's Huma from

India, Nordessa from Phillipines, Wasis from our country, Touzie from Ghana, Salomon

from Kenya, and my "brothers" from Chili and Germany... After that, we went to the
Puget Sound, the most beautiful lake I ever seen (If you wanna see, look at my picture in
the Stadium HS behind the football field), and had my first American picnic there... It was
so happy!! And then we came home and sleeeeeeppp...

08/13 Huma, Nordessa, Mom, and me went to the clothing store named KOHL'S... It was a
really big store with a big sale... I bought a very cute black-white dress and white high
heels for the wedding on Saturday and also six pairs of very colorful socks... It was so
awful, because we need 2 hours just to find Huma's stuff, she was a really hardshopper...
Fiuuuhhh... And I did a very very stupid things. I left my purse in the Fitting Room... So
stupid!!! But the lucky is Huma found out my purse and gave it back to me... God bless
me !!

08/14 Today we are delivering phonebooks house by house in Tacoma. First, we delivered it to
the streets near the Puget Sound... It was so tiring but very fun!! It's a kind of fundraiser
for our program here, because we have a lot program and all of that are so interesting...
So, working to get money.. hehehe...

08/15 Working with phonebooks again today... Same job but different route... It was a very big
area and we have wedding party at seven o'clock in the evening... And do you know?? we
just finished our job at six, and we must come back home and changing to our dress... We
got home at quarter to seven, so we just have 15 minustes to changing and prepare our
selves... No time to take a bath!!! Ohhhhhhh... But, it's okay... I'm not stingky... hehehe...
We had a very wonderful day wedding party, but there's just a little food there, not like in
Indonesia... And I met a lot of people and friends... It's so fun!! After that, we went to Jack
in The Box and got Terriyaki Bowls.. Then went back to home and sleep... Ready for the
next day!!!

08/16 Sunday!!! We went to the church, Trinity Church, in the morning... It's my mom church
and a Christians church... So many people there and everybody kept ask question to me...
Before we got the church, we went to Krispi Kreme, a doughnut shop, and it's sooooooo
delicious... I like it so much.... After that we went home and be lazy all long the day...
hehehe... Rest day after tiring days!!! Uhuuyyyy....

I'm sooooo sleepy...
Last night I worked in the Scone Booth until 22.30 and got home about 23.30 and slept about midnight...
I'm so tired until I didn't hear my alarm rang and fell sleep so deep...
The lucky is my mom woke me up, so I don't late to go to school...

Sleepyyyyyyyyy....
Tonight I will waork again, sleep late again...
